Matsche-Patsche

Hey guys!

Some days ago, I made some "Matsche-Patsche" which is a name that Demian gave to that dish. It's one of his favorites and I cooked that for us as Demian was sick that last weekend. It's pretty easy, so I decided to share the basic recipe and some step by step photos. I'm not saying that it's perfect, but it still tasted really good ;)

1) First, you'll have to cut and prepare two red bell peppers, four Wiener sausages (I've chosen some with cheese inside, but you can take any that you like) and two onions. Start cooking 250g Penne pasta in the meanwhile.

2) Fry the onions and the sausage pieces and add the bell peppers.

3) Add tomato sauce or blended fresh tomatoes and spices as you like. Serve pasta with the sauce.

Enjoy!

Hallo Leute!

Guten Appetit!

(1) Dice 200g Chicken Breast and fry until golden. Prepare around 100g of each Soy Sprouts and Bamboo Sprouts.

(2) Add Sprouts and a generous amount of Soy Sauce until dark brown. You can also add some onions or other vegetables if you like.

(3) Prepare 200g (dry) Mie Noodles in boiling water (see instructions on package) and add them to the mixture. Fry for another few minutes, until the Soy Sauce is spread evenly.

Onion&Meat love Parboiled Rice

We made this for dinner yesterday and ist was soooo great. Basically we just diced meat and onions, fried them together in a pan and added cooked rice. So delicious! Yet you should also be a fan of onions if you want to try this one ;) At least we are - definitely :)

Potato gratin with steak

After our new French roommate showed us his receipe for potato gratin we decided to try it ourselves - and here is the result. Enjoy :)

And for dessert we had some delicious vanilla pudding.

Und als Nachtisch gab es lecker Vanillepudding.

Fast & (actually not) Healthy

It's been a long time since I've cooked something and I thought, I'd make something healthy. However, when I walked down the fridges in the supermarket, I really wanted fries. So I combined both and made something half healthy and half fast (and unhealthy). The more healthy part is a vegetable-sausage-gratin and the unhealthy part - well - fries! ;)

Cong You Bing // Scallion Pancakes

Wednesday, we made some yummy Chinese-style scallion pancakes (Cong You Bing / 葱油饼) with ham/bacon. Since it was really good, we wanted to share some impressions :)

Firstly, beat some eggs und add flour and water until it's enough batter and it has the right consistence (as you like). If it's not enough batter, add both water and flour. If it's too liquid, add flour and if it's too solid, add water. Really easy concept. ;)

Ganz einfaches Prinzip ;)

Then, you can add diced scallions, ham, bacon or basically anthing you want. We've chosen scallions and ham - both "normal" ham and Black Forest ham.

Lastly, fry the pancakes in a pan with enough oil or butter until they're golden and crispy. Done! :)

Fertig! :)
